Privacy Notice
Effective October 27, 2026
Who we are
This website is operated by EventPoint, Inc. ("EventPoint", "we", "us"). This notice explains what we collect when you visit www.eventpoint.com, request a demo, or use the chat on this site, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you send us in the demo request. Your name, email and event name, and anything optional you add: phone, company, and details about your event.
- What you type in the chat. Your messages to our assistant, and any contact details you give it if you ask it to book a demo.
- Technical information. Like any website, our servers and our security provider receive your IP address and basic request information (such as browser type and the page requested). We use it to deliver the site, limit abuse and keep the service secure.
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. The chat keeps your conversation only in the open page; closing or reloading the page ends it on your side.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, set up a demo, and follow up about our services.
- To send you a confirmation email when you request a demo.
- To answer your questions in the chat.
- To screen out spam and protect the site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf, under contract, and only to provide their service to us:
- Hosting and our business systems — demo requests and chat requests are handled by the business system we use to manage customer relationships, hosted on Microsoft Azure.
- Website delivery and security — Cloudflare delivers this site and protects it from abuse.
- Email delivery — a transactional email provider sends our confirmation emails.
- AI assistant — chat messages are sent to an AI model provider to generate the assistant's replies.
- Web fonts — the site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
Event attendee data
This notice covers our website. When EventPoint runs registration or other services for a client's event, we handle attendee information on that client's behalf and under our agreement with them; the event organizer's own privacy notice tells attendees how their information is used.
How long we keep it
We keep demo requests and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to manage our business relationship with you, and then delete them in line with our data retention schedule. Server and security logs are kept for a short period.
Security
EventPoint maintains an information security management system certified to ISO/IEC 27001. Information is encrypted in transit, and access to it is limited to the people who need it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or U.S. state privacy laws. To make a request, email privacy@eventpoint.com. We will respond within the time the law requires.
Children
This site is meant for business visitors and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
