EventPoint was founded by Eric Scott in response to a growing need by event planners and attendees of user conferences to centralize all aspects of the event planning lifecycle. It started in 1999 with a call from a Fortune 50 company to develop custom tools needed for their upcoming corporate conference. This relationship expanded considerably over the years. In 2007, EventPoint tools and network services will be deployed for more than fifteen top tier events sponsored by Fortune 50 companies.

Since its beginnings, EventPoint has greatly expanded the breadth of offerings. EventPoint’s network division continues to be viewed as the industry-leader in innovation and deployment of robust and reliable event wireless networks. Additionally, software solutions for almost every aspect of planning and executing events have been successfully deployed over the years to meet clients’ ever growing needs. The company's suite of standard tools continues to grow.
