Position Title: Application Specialist
Status: Full time
Job Location: Bozeman, Montana
Position Availability: Immediately
Salary Range: $32,000 to $45,000 based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- supports ongoing client projects
- configures and implements web-based event planning tools on behalf of clients
- tests functionality of tools prior to delivery
- communicates with EventPoint software developers to update tools
- provides customer support, mainly through email communications
- updates client’s event websites as necessary
- creates support documentation
- actively identifies and suggests to management areas for process improvement
- provides phone or online training of products to customers and/or supports these efforts
- periodically travels to client events
Requirements
- strong attention to detail and desire to learn
- ability to problem solve, work in a fast-paced start-up environment, and manage multiple projects at once
- excellent computer skills: including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and web based solutions
- outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management and team members
- ability to complete tasks on a timely basis with minimal supervision and to provide timely / accurate status reports to management
- willingness to travel
Preferences
- BA/BS degree preferred
- minimum of two years of prior experience working in operations or customer service support
- basic knowledge of HTML
